- FOUND - 3 month old puppyHi everyone, I found a beautiful black/cream female approx. 3 month old puppy on the corner of Devonshire Street and Hope Street this morning in the Village of Providence. After searching the area for some time trying to locate an owner, she is now being looked after by the Huntsville Animal Shelter.

I really hope they find the owner……..I found it very hard handing her over today as she was so well tempered, loving and cute. If you know of anyone looking for a new puppy, let me know and I’ll provide her details if an owner doesn’t come forward. Thanks, Sarah

There was a mangy coyote in our backyard early this morning (4/2) around 6:15 am. If you have small animals, you may want to keep them inside at night. We called Animal Control, was transferred to 3 different departments but no one seemed too concerned. - SMALL DOG ALERT!!!For any of you who own small to mid-sized dogs, please keep your eyes open for a man with shaggy grey hair and beard, driving a burgundy Odyssey van. He keeps his two larger dogs in the van with the windows open, and although he had a rope around the neck of at least one of them, it was not tied to anything, so they are NOT restrained. One jumped out of his van and attacked my daschund mix dog, picking it up in its jaws and shaking it. We did talk to the owner afterwards (my husband wanted to call the police), but were not able to elicit his name. I don’t think he “got” that what his dog did was wrong. So anyway, if you see him or his van, please pick up your small dogs (and probably small children too) so that they aren’t in danger. Fortunately, our dog was not injured - this time.
For those of you who don’t own dogs, sorry to bother you.

FOUND - FEMALE GREY TABBYA cat was found under a shed at 1840 Shellbrook this morning.
Appears to be female, grey tabby, about 8 pounds, with a reddish studded collar but no ID. It's been injured -- right rear hip appears bloody -- but still alert.
Animal Control will keep him/her for five days or so. Contact Animal Control to bail them out!
